Bitchy Rackmore

Bitchy Rackmore is a Blastcore band originating from Dayton, Ohio. Members consist of Reegan on drums, Delaney on guitar, and Jessi on vocals. They're all about classic rock and playing as fast as humanly possible. For fans of Deterioration, Deep Purple, and Pantera.

How'd you guys meet and what is the origin of BxRx?

Reegan: Delaney and I met in I'd say mid 2016 when I started jamming with Angelo Vierra (Putrid Liquid/Lectularius/Bog of Anguish) and we had played in a small various of groups including Lectularius. Around October of 2017, we had a lot of free time on our hands and we had some random ideas to jam with that weren't really the exact style we were playing already and we thought they sounded cool enough to make an actual project. And coming from our early history of influences with music in general; we both thought it'd be cool to switch around Ritchie Blackmore's name and make it Bitchy Rackmore.

What inspires your music and what are your influences?

Jessi: The best of the best. Ozzy, Ritchie, John Lord, even Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. So skilled that nobody could school them. Foreign bands as well, such as Focus, The Soft Machine, and early metal.

Delaney: Honestly System of a Down, Death, and Megadeth are my biggest influences on guitar.

Are there any influences that would shock your fans?

Jessi: Influences that would shock fans? Probably vocally Su Tissue from Suburban Lawns and Mel Blanc, the guy who did the Loony Tunes back in the day. Probably because they both are super diverse, and can all tirelessly strain their vocal.

What makes a show perfect for you?

Delaney: I think for a show to be perfect there has to be awesome bands playing consisting of your best homies maybe a bigger touring band. Honestly all the best shows I've played has been with my best friends bands in a shitty basement.

What has been, in your opinion, the best show you've had?

Jessi: Our best show would have to be the first one we did together at Mike's Bike Park. We were just asked to fill in for their original singer Creekbaum, and the crowd went wild that night. We decided from then onto keep going with this lineup.

As far as the future holds for BxRx, they have a new release coming soon.
